Fire is one of the three Starter Elements in Elemental Battlegrounds. Its color palette consists of orange and yellow. Its medal depicts a flowing flame, similar to a will-o-the-wisp or ghost light.

Fire is a distance Element based on heavy damage with a burning effect in most of its Spells, which consist of a mixture of fast and slow attacks.

This Element costs 150 Diamonds if it's not a player's Starter Element.

Description[]

Fire is an Element focused on heavy hits with slow yet reliable damage, allowing its user to do huge amounts of damage in a short amount of time, while almost simultaneously having a power advantage over other Starter Elements, whether they're stalling, or trying to push past an opponent. It is the heaviest damage dealer out of the initial three Elements but lacks speed compared to the other two. Furthermore, Fire offers one of the more unique sets of play-style with its intriguing Spells. Spells like Flame Body make the user stronger and move faster, while most of the other Spells leave some type of lingering fire that would be useful to trap opponents in. Due to this, to be an effective Fire user, the learning curve is fairly steep if one wants to utilize its potential at its peak.

Note: Damage was tested with 50 Power on a player with 50 defense.

How to use Fire[]

Fire Element is a challenging discipline to master, due to its unique playstyle. Blaze Column is a powerful move that delivers a brief stun, setting up opportunities for Consecutive Fire Bullets or a devastating Great Fire Blast, however, Blaze Column has a quite small size, and requires good aim. It is recommended to start a combo with a stunning move, then use Blaze Column. Flame Body is also incredibly helpful for avoiding burn damage from other Fire users, as well as enhancing your own attacks.

Hell's Core, on the other hand, should be used for crowd control, as most players will have to retreat from its massive blast radius. While Hell's Core deals the same burst damage as Great Fire Blast, it can also deal ongoing damage from the pillars it summons and the fire it leaves behind. Overall, Fire is excellent for dealing large bursts of damage and offers good control options, but mastering it requires a steep learning curve.

How to fight Fire users[]

As you face the Fire user, be on the lookout for the Blaze Column attack, as it can leave you vulnerable to other attacks and deals ongoing burn damage. Great Fire Blast can be relatively easy to dodge, unless it drops directly on top of you, so keep your distance and watch for opportunities to dodge. If you see the user charging up Hell's Core, however, it's best to get as far away as possible, as the resulting blast is massive and can deal significant damage.

To defeat the Fire user, try to outmaneuver them by staying on the move and never giving them a chance to launch a combo attack. By dodging and outpaced them, you may be able to force them to take shots in the dark, which will likely result in missed attacks. Stay alert and keep moving to give yourself the best chance of victory.

Trivia[]

  • Great Fire Blast was the first Spell developed and completed in Elemental Battlegrounds. Its riding feature was intentionally implemented and will remain a feature in the future. "Fireball was the first-ever move created in Elemental Battlegrounds, and we discovered the riding "feature" and intentionally left it in the game, yes." - mygame43
  • As of 2019, some of the sound effects for some Elements (including Fire) have been changed.
  • Due to how projectiles are handled in Roblox, Spells like Great Fire Blast and Consecutive Fire Bullets can slightly move players or trip them on hit, depending on the angle the projectile hits.
  • If the user aims straight down on a completely flat surface and uses Great Fire Blast, the fireball won't explode upon being cast and will continuously glitch up and down. Standing on top of the glitching fireball will fling the user into the sky due to Roblox physics.
  • Fire is one of the many Elements brought back into Elemental Battlegrounds from Elemental Wars.
    • As a returning element, most of Fire's spells are revamped versions of Elemental Wars' Fire spells.
  • Occasionally, Great Fire Blast will play a different sound effect when summoned.
    • If this happens, it will happen for the rest of the server's life.
    • This appears to happen more often in the Light map.
  • Fire spells have a special interaction with poison needles, making them turn to dust upon contact, this can be used with blaze column to make a wall to stop those pesky darts.
